• You are taking this course voluntarily to receive a 3-point credit on your Idaho Driver's License record. The Idaho Transportation Department Division of Motor Vehicles allows you to take this course for a 3-point credit once every three (3) years.
• You may need to take it to satisfy a court order.
• Students who satisfactorily complete this 6-hour course may now also get insurance premium reductions. Individuals should contact their insurance companies to advise as to whether or not they offer this discount for their customers.
• Your employer requires you to attend a Defensive Driving Course.

The Idaho Transportation has reviewed and Approved this online Course. If you are taking this course voluntarily for point reduction or the court requires you to take a Defensive Driving Course, you are eligible. Your court may or may not accept the certificate of completion. It is your responsibility to determine if your court accepts online defensive driving courses.

You must complete the course within 60 days (2 months) of your registration for the course. After 60 days, your login information will be removed from our databases and you will have to RE-register to begin again. Remember, you can complete the course at your own pace logging on and off as many times as necessary to complete the course within that period.

You should receive a certificate of completion in your email within 24 hours. Except for Sundays and major holidays, certificates are processed once per day, no exceptions!

3. Fill out the registration form.
4. Review the information and click on the "register" button.
5. The list of sessions will appear. Click on the "start course" button to begin learning!

No; you can log-in, re-enter, and take the course using any computer with any type of Internet connection.

You can either go to our home page and click the 'Log In' button (under "Returning Student?") or you can click the 'Log In (Returning?)' link in our menu section. Then you will just enter your First Name, Last Name, and Birthday and click the "Login" button to resume the course. Don't worry, our student progress monitoring feature will allow to pick up exactly where you left off.

You may review and retake the course online for FREE until you pass.
